Our Story

Clemson graduate Pat Iannelli began the PDIA architecture firm in 1991 in South Carolina with a focus on custom designs and single-family residential and government housing projects. Since then, the firm has worked on wide-ranging architecture development projects, such as multifamily, office buildings, shopping centers, restaurants, banks, light industrial, automobile repair shops, and single-family residences.

Over the decades, the firm and our reach has grown exponentially. In 2004, we became PDI Architecture, LLC, and we now boast work in designing over 400 residences. We have managed multifamily, assisted living, and commercial/light industrial developments totaling over $950 million in construction costs.

We excel in multifamily residences (new construction, communities, apartment complexes), commercial/light industrial spaces (retail, business, restaurant, medical, veterinary), and assisted living facilities (senior living, assisted care, rehabilitation). We have worked extensively with public and private associations, as well as, government funding and HUD lending institutions in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Florida. We also contract with lending institutions to conduct third party draw inspections and with developers on third party construction administration.
